Jan I. Bernstein has, for over 20 years, worked with Indian tribes and museums on repatriation. She has been writing NAGPRA grants since 1998 and is still batting a thousand. She helps clients assess NAGPRA compliance status, identifies projects, and implements them. The grants have funded over $800,000 in NAGPRA compliance projects including consultations with Indian tribes throughout the US and repatriations of hundreds of individuals.
